Tez: Fractured World is a 2D puzzle platformer where the players take on the role of a grumpy hermit square called Tez. After committing himself to a life of solitude in his countryside farm, Tez's peaceful way of life is rudely disturbed by a "long way away" explosion which inconveniently destroys half of his home. With so many questions left unanswered, burning piles of rubble and a no longer functional TV set, Tez reluctantly sets out on a journey of discovery to find out what has caused such havoc.
Tez is one of six unique characters that the players will control throughout this adventure. Each with specific abilities that prove valuable during their time with Tez. The player will need to think of "out of the box" solutions as they traverse the puzzling regions devastated by the mysterious "long way away" explosion.
